Surrey’s Leisure Offer for Looked After Children and Care Leavers
The Leisure Offer has been open in Surrey since July 2022 and over 450 memberships have been given. The Leisure Offer continues to be open to all Surrey Looked After, UASC, care leavers and foster carers that live in Surrey. If you would like to apply for membership for any children, young people and foster carers that you support please contact leisure.offer@surreycc.gov.uk for an application form. Please note that the form can only be completed by an SCC staff member.
As part of the offer looked after children and care leavers are provided with:
- Free gym membership
- Free swim access at all times
- 50% concession on classes and bookable activities
Also, Surrey foster carers and their birth children (under 18 years old) are entitled to a 50% leisure discount!
We have been informed that Guildford Lido is completely closed until April/May next year, therefore if you have a child / young person / foster carers that has membership at Guildford Lido, please advise them that they are able to use the Guildford Spectrum facilities. They just need to go to the main reception and obtain a code to enter the gym or book in for a lane swim.
